Out of Time

Zack shook his head "I was in the military but I'm nit a fan of guns. Besides you wanted cartoons"

"Oh" he said glancing at him. "I did but I have seen every episode of this show so it doesn't matter much to me, you can find something else, I wont be mad" he said with a smile.

Zack smiled gently and switched it to different cartoons

Oliver didn't pay attention for a while. He didn't even realize that he was drawing Zack and Tyler.

Zack shifted and looked around the room, looking suspicious

Oliver was drawing them in bed cualy leaning over himself, back muscles wripling as they touched him.

Zack got up and wondered toward the door saying he'd be right back

Oliver nodded and watched him "alright" he said simply and looked down blinking. He blushed and closed it quickly.

Zack paced on the front porch, taking deep breathes

Oliver set it down and laid down watching as the show played on the screen. Giggling.

Tyler came back into te room and sat down in the chair he'd been sitting in earlier. Zack poked his head into the door "Ty! come here." he called and tyler got up and went after him. Soon both of them were on the roof, crouched down, watching for the demon Zack had felt show up

Oliver looked up feeling it to. He slowly walked to the door and opened it. "Caleb" he yelled loudly.

Caleb ran over to him "What's wrong?"

Outside was a huge, thirty foot tall demon with huge leathery wings, flames alone it's arms head and down it's spine, six lizard like legs and huge battle armor covering the majority of it's body. There was no way their small little group could kill this thing

Oliver pointed out the door and went to go get Grim "Grim we are going to need your help" he yelled loudly.

Grim grabbed his scythe and followed them outside.
Zack and Tyler spoke to each other quietly before going to either side of the house, Zack jumped over to the branches of a tree to the left and Tyler stood on the corner of the building. Soon they both jumped, landing on the arms of the demon, walking up them quickly. They soon were stabbing and slicing the demon with blades that none of the others had noticed. Tyler would randomly give Zack warnings when the demon was about to move and zack would jump out of the way, pretty soon Tyler sank the blade into the demons throat, zack sank his into the back of it's neck and they ended slicing the demon's head off, it falling to the ground with a large thunk before the body started to crumple. Tyler nad Zack, covered in green blood, grinned at the other proudly. "Told you that you would need us."

Oliver stood there watching them in aww. He was literally frozen in place as he watched them. He didn't speak or anything just stood. "H-how?" He mumbled before he backed up a little bit. He turned and walked into the house forehead creasing in thought. He walked to his room and quietly shut the door.

Zack looked confused and Tyler's grin faded as Oliver left without saying anything.
Caleb asked "How did you two do that?"
Zack looked at him "we weren't kidding when we said we've been specially trained

Oliver sat on his bed his face scrunched in deep thought. He huffed and laid back with a loud groan. "Why couldn't I be straight" he growled lowly. 'And normal' he added with a sigh and burried his face in the piilow.

Caleb went to olivers room and knocked in the dorr "bud? You okay?"

Oliver looked at the door "You can come in" he spoke softly and hid his face back in his pillow.

Caleb stepped in "what's wrong oli?"

"I-I don't want to like them so much. But I do' he said quietly and curled up. "Then I started thinking about how they killed that demon, and how they could kill me" he said and sighed. "You know, like I want" he said and looked up to him.

Caleb shook his head "they couldn't. I wouldn't let them even if they for sonr reason wanted to. Its not your fault you like them"

Oliver moved and pulled him down on the bed putting his head on his lap and relaxed a little bit. "I already freaked them out with my panic attack. I am like a giant kid, I am damaged goods, Zack is barely bi, and Tyler I think just wants sex" he mumbled quietly. "Everything would be easier dead"

Caleb chuckled and kissed his head "Tyler, is very sexual yes, but its not all he wants, usually. And kiddo, you dont need to hook up with someone the first day you know them. Get to know them. Maybe you'll find you dont actually like them. Besides, you gotta learn about all their luggage before you jump head first. Like you know why Zack sleeps on the floor? It makes him relive the war, getting attacked and losing his arm. He's an addict to the memory, the adrenaline, the anxiety. I guess maybe it drives him. And yes, he has major PTSD. Not to mention, he goes hunting for danger. The bigger, more dangerous, the better. In that respect both of them are like that. And both of them cant handle hospitals, so if they were to get hurt we can't take them there. Both also cant handle small spaces or staying indoors for long periods of time. Honestly I think they're a little more f-ed up then us"
