Out of Time

Caleb looked at him and said "The worst part is I could go from just having sex with you to having a real relationship, it'd work.... but I can't do it the other way around. I can't have a relationship with him and be able to have sex with him later, I don't know why I can't do it with him but I can't. And I'm going to have to. I can't hurt him like that. He has already tried everything to kill himself because he thinks he doesn't deserve love." he shook his head "Daniel... I have to go."

Daniel grabbed his arm. "Caleb if you leave your chance is over. Now listen here. My brother has tried to kill himself ever since he was in high school when that monster" e growled. "Anyway I will elt him say when he is ready. Nothing new he just needs to be calmed down and be coddled. Happens every so often" he said and moved to play with Calebs hair. "He will understand perfectly fine that you want to be with me. Trust me I know he will. Let me guess when you kissed him he was worried because I liked you. I am also going to say that he wanted to come right over here so you can kiss me. Yeah Caleb he wants you to be with me. When he wakes up ask him. But really he just wants to be loved and held and taken care of. He is like a child, He wants to go to the park. He wants to play games. He wants to go to the zoo or aquarum. He wants to eat raw cake batter." he said softly. "We kiss because it shows him that I love him. We don't see it as sexual or romantic, Sure it has gone a bit in that way but he just wants someone to be there for him"

Caleb covered his face "I hope youre right" he mumbled

"I am always right, Oh and when you get home there may or may bot be flowers all over your room" he said and smirked. He moved oliver who instantly went and curled up to caleb.

Daniel smiled and went to put the cake in the over humming happily.

Caleb watched him and smiled. He looked at oli and sighed softly

Oliver was talking in his sleep about Grim, mumbling about him being sexy.

Daniel smirked "Besides you aren'y really his type" he said and smirked.

Caleb laughed "yea. Apparently he's into grim reapers with a bad attitude" he joked

Daniel smirked "I think grim will come around. No one can resist Oliver, Have you seen him, he is a puppy child adorable ball of sunshine" he said smirking.

Caleb laughed "true. I just.... I'm not sure grim swings that way.... And if he does do we really want someone like oli being around someone like him?" he asked, concerned

"He does have a child doesn't he that means he has to somewhat like females, and he is from a time period were no one was gay, or said they were gay" he said and sat down thinking. "Oliver has been around worse, I don't think grim would hurt him. No liek that douche bag did' he grumbled.

Caleb bit his lip " I guess..."

"we can keep are eye out don't worry I have eyes everywhere" he said and smirked. "You look good when you shower" he teased before getting up again.

CAleb raised an eyebrow at him "Then I look good all the time?"

"No, in the shower my little lamb" he said cooing and smiled softly at him.

Caleb blushed and said "Oh." but didn't say anything else

"Yes very nice" he said and laughed before humming going into the kitchen. "Anyway try bit to worry to much about Oliver I will take care of it."

Caleb nodded and came over and wrapped his arms around him from behind, resting his head on Daniel's shoulder.

Daniel smiled at him slightly but kept chopping up vegetables. "We just have to make sure that we don't treat him any different. Cuddle him love him and spoil him" he said softly. "Aand if he need it kiss him"

Caleb nodded "You know I'd never change how I treat him."

Daniel smiled and put the vegetables in the crock pot. "I know love. I didn't expect you to. I would never treat him differently. I just wanted to say that because he is going to need it." he said smiling sadly and looked at him. "Dark days are coming my sweet" he said and ran his thumbs over his cheek bones.

Caleb nodded "I know." he said quielty, his eyes going sad. "It's my fault...."

Daniel shook his head and kissed him softly. "It was always going to happen. Something in time can be changed and some are fixed, this is a fixed point it was always going to happen" he said softly.

Caleb sighed and shook his head, moving away to lean on the wall now

Daniel put the pork in the pot addinf other things and put the lid on. He turned and washed his hands. "Caleb I am an angle. I know the prophecies" he said and glanced at him

"this has nothing to do with prophecies this has everything to do with me not doing my job right. Adrian saved me and nick inherited me when Adrian died. I was supposed to save nicks humanity, that was the only way to save the world, and I failed."
