Titus smiled and yawned tiredly "I don't want to sleep" he mumbled sounding tired.

James smiled gently "You need to for now okay?"

Titus sighed and nodded laying his head back eyes closing hand still holding onto James tightly.

James held his tightly in return, smiling happily

Titus woke up the next morning with a loud grown in pain "j-James" he coughed out.

James, who had fallen asleep with his head resting on the couch beside Titus, lifted his head quickly and asked "W-what's wrong?"

"I-it hurts to breathe again" he weeded out trying to tKe in lRge breaths but e coudlnt.

James got up and rested his hands on his chest and ribs carefully, trying to mend whatever was broken this time, not just make it hurt less

Titus breathed trying to calm down "t-thanks"

James nodded but didn't say anything, focusing on fixing the wound as best he could

"It is good" he spoke quietly breathing better and more clear now.

James let go and carefully buried his face into his neck

Titus held him with his arm and sighed "baby u am sorry I am scaring you"

James shook his head "its not your fault. I'm just worried of loosing my best friend"

"You won't loose menu promise" he coughed slightly. "Who would constantly sneak through your window and steal your tea" he said smirking mischievously.

James smirked "that's true. I came to expect it after a while and just made two cups. One for you o take out of my hands and one perfectly placed to not be noticed till I just picked it up" he chuckled softly

Titus laughed "that is true" he nodded with a smile. "See not going anywhere" he said nodding kissing his cheek.

James nodded "You will one day though." he said gently "One day you're not going to be able to limp to where I'm at. I won't be able to save you." he said quietly

"Don't say that James. I will always be there for you" he said and smiled gently and looked at him "you can run but I will follow"

JAmes shook his head "I'm not going to run. I need my best friend. But Your career is dangerous."

"This is the first time in years that I have gotton hurt. It doesn't happen often" he said grinning. 

(I thought maybe in the future sometime Titus could be brainwashed kinda like Busch during world war 2 and that is why James hasn't been in contact with him in the future?)

James nodded "I know but it won't be the last." he said gently.
