Out of Time

Oliver looked at him and nodded. "Yeah I am fine Caleb' he said though his voice was emotionless. He headed into the room but didn't want to wake the sleeping boy so he came back out making a plate. "I will be in my room." he said and headed inside closing the door behind him quietly

Caleb went to his room and got dressed before going ot oliver's room and knocking on the door

Oliver glanced at it "it is open Caleb" he spoke his voice blank. He ate slowly as he looked down at the book his was reading.

Caleb stepped inside and closed the door behind him. He looked at him worried "Oli, I know something's wrong. you can talk to me,"

"Did you know I can't kill myself, I just wake back up" he said and stared at the book he had in his hands. "Even if I stab my heart. Just come back" he said his chest rising slowly. "Pills don't work. Hanging blood loss. Nothing works"

CAleb looked at him and said "Good. Cause I don't want to lose my best friend." He went over and hugged him gently "Why are you trying to kill yourself?"

Oliver leaned into him curling up on his lap. "I don't want to be the way I am Caleb. I don't want to be weak and pathetic. I can barely kill a demon. I am a whore child. No one will love me I can't even go for a day with out upsetting you in some way. I follow you around like a puppy. I am scared of my own shadow" he gripped his shoulders tightly. "I don't want to be me anymore" he cried softly into his shoulder.

CAleb rubbed his back "You'll learn buddy. You'll get used to the scary and realize it isn't scary. And we can practice fighting if you think it'll help. And you upsetting me isn't your fault, it's mine, I'm hot headed, easily annoyed and just.... tired. And you will find love, I promise"

Oliver shook his head and held into him sobbing into his shoulder. He just wanted to be done he didn't want to deal with this life anymore. "What do you think happens when you die. I mean I know ghosts and demons and angles but I would like to think you could be reincarnated"

Caleb lifted Oliver's chin "Why? What's wrong?"

"Nothing I was just wondering I just like to think I would be better in another life" he said softly and sniffled looking up to him. "Why do you hate Daniel. He really likes you"

Caleb shook his head "I don't hate him. He annoys me. and I pick on him cause he's a friend." he said softly. "stop avoiding my question. Why are you so upset?"

"I just want to be done Caleb. I just if hurts so bad sometimes. I just feel empty and useless. I am pathetic and used and dirty" he said and shrugged looking at his nails. "I just wish it was over some times" he said and shrugged.

CAleb shook his head "You aren't useless, or pathetic, you're not dirty. You're important to me. you're my best friend, my anchor."

Oliver just shook his head. "You would be fine without me, you were before I came into your life" he mumbled shaking his head.

Caleb shook his head "No I wasn't. I met you right after..... nick... and I was a mess."

"If you call that a Mess then I don't even know what I am" he said frowning. "I was on the street alone cold and hungry. You tried to kill me because I am part demon." he said and looked up to him. "Alec you didn't want me alive then. What is stopping you know?"

Caleb looked at him softly "I know who you are now. I know how amazing of a guy you are and that you, more then most people, deserve to live. and you never knew how bad I was. I was an emotional wreck on the inside.... and I used to... cut. They'd heal instantly of course but it was the pain... the punishment of failing. But baby, you are amazing and you deserve to live and love and be happy."

Oliver shook his head holding onto him. "C-Caleb, I never said this but...I uh" he choked on a sob pausing and held onto him. "My uncle and Father, they, they did things and called me names and told me they loved me, they didn't even use a condom. They just" he shobbed again shaking bad. "Daniel was gone already, he didn't know and Mom she wouldn't do anything" he whimpered holding onto him. "I don't deserve to be loved or happy. I am pathetic, worthless, used and broken"

Caleb hugged him close "Shh. You're not pathetic or worthless. you have been used, but that is not your fault. It was never your fault. It's alright Oli, EVerything's okay now"

Oliver shook his head holding onto him. "They are going to come back, they are going to find me" he said shaking horribly. "D-dani when he got back took me to the aquarium, just me and him, and he would tell me about his adventues. I was 8 and he was looking 18 at the time so he had fully aged, I guess since he is weird with aging. But I would be so amazed and just stare at the fish. I-I always thought I would be like him. But I am not. I don't derve love. I deserve what I got. I deserve to be dead" he said and got up running into the bathroom and locking the door.

Caleb grabbed him before he could run away. "No." he told him "you don't. You are a sweet, funny and caring guy who deserves love. And you will find it. it wasn't your fault. you did nothing wrong at all."

He flinched at his words and just shook his head. "No Caleb, I did everything wrong, it was my fault, and love will not find me" he said his voice emotionless. "I just want it to stop"

Caleb shook his head and hugged him close. "I love you... I know you mean a different kind but I love you." he said softly

Oliver seemed to give up and relax into him. He nodded "I know Caleb" he said and bit his lip. "D-Do you think we could go to the bakery?" he asked almsot silently.
