The Angel and the Demon

"I don`t care." She stated and bit in to her pizza.

He grabbed a juice box and gave it to her smiling and went over to Lethal.

Alex ate relatively quick and then got out of her chair. She reached on to the table to get the plate and finished juice box.

He smiled gently "Wehre to first sweetie?"

"I want to go by myself." She said and smiled hopefully.

Lethal paused "sweetoe I not think that is a good idea" he said gently and kneeled infront of her. "I can't protect you from in here. And tere are bad people who are looking to take you away from me"

"What do you mean?" She said confused. Fear and pain mixed in her blue eyes.

Lethal looked at her "sweetie rember how you said there was a truck you got hit by it. That is why daddy didn't see you. I am dead too and people they want to take you away from. They want to take you to. Place you can never see me again" he said quietly.

"Wait I never said that." She stepped away confused and scared. Bruises and scraps appeared all over her body her left eye had scaps going all the way through it. She looked absolutely horride.

"Love calm down. You did you said you err playing with daddy when you ran into the streets" he said gently and looked at her. He watched closely "just I don't want you to be taken from me. " he said and looked to her "I can help" he said gently.

She looked at her body and started breathing quicker. "Why d-did I..."

"That's it i've heard enough." A voice in the air said and then Rina appeared behind Alex and wrapped her arms around Alex from behind.

Lethal got up looking angry "stay away from her, I am to take care of her not you" he said looking to Rina and then down to Alex and tears were falling down his cheeks.

"Let go of me!" Alex said trying to get away from her.

"Tortured soul return to where you belong." Rina whispered in Alex's ear and Alex seemed to relax. She then looked at Lethal amd Landon. "This girl was accidently cut. She needs to go to heaven."

Lethal walked over and glared at Rita wind bowig all around him. "Do not touch her" he said growling lowly. "I was considered a tortured soul where were you for me when I died. You weren't. So I will keep Alex. She is happy for me and I can provide for her" he said sharply.

"Your profile was destroyed. We couldn't take the sins you commited. You were old enough to make your own decisions. This girl is five!" Rina said fire in her eyes. Her wings appeared onher back.

His eyes were red and e stared at her "I had no where else to go. Hell didn't want me because I didn't do enough bad and you think I did to much" he growled and then looked at Alec. "And she may be five but she will love me more then she will care about you. I can provide for her and give he a family"

"These are not my rules I am following the commands given to me. I was told to be her gaurdian angel and then to take her back after things went wrong. Meaning when her file was placed in the wrong area." She said protectively.

He stared at her and frowned. "No I can keep her safe. I promise" he said crying now. "I haven't had anything good my whole life and now I have a chance to be a father. A better one that my dad was. I has a chance to change my sins."

"What will you do then?" Rina asked not taking her eyes off either of them. Those eyes were emotionless.

"I am going to care for her. Give her a home feed her give her love and care and help her grow up. Landon has people who can home school her. I have ways so people could see her and I will teach her what it takes to be proud of who she is"

"I mean what will you do if you are redeemed?" She asked seriously. It probably looked kind of weird that a nine year old girl was taking this way to an almost fully grow person.

"I coul help other children. I suppose that is what you do but kids trust me more. I can turn into different things. I can make them trust me" he said gently.

"I will make you a deal then that is within all our interests. This girl will be put in your care but you must redeem yourself and then become an angel." Rina said like it was nothing,

Lethal looked back to Landon "as long I will he able to stay and be with my mate, and when I am an angle unwell stay with him but I will do my job as is needed" he said watching her.

"Very well." She said and picked up Alex and walked over to Lethal. "Take care of her I will be watching." She said giving her to him and disappearing.
