James bit his lip as he watched Magnus and Alec. He looked back to Daniel and asked "Daniel... Do you like Ethan more because he's funner?"

Magnus smiled and swayed back and fourth.

Daniel watche chin. "I low you sand dadda the same. But for different reasons. I like you because you always will keep me safe and you like to give me things and be with me a lot. I love dadda because he has only one special day to see me and he likes to take me a special place just me and him and he talks about you a lot"

Alec smiled and held him close, enjoying being in his father's arms.

James looked at him concerned "Where does he take you?" he asked curiously.

Magnus smiled and snapped his fingers and a beanie appears. He put it on Alec.

Daniel looked t him "he takes me to the aquarium because he says it is where he meet you" he said quietly.

Alec looked at his father and grinned happily.

JAmes relaxed "Oh alright. sorry buddy. I just get worried when you're alone with anyone else." he said softly. He felt as if someone was twisting the knife in his heart, the one Ethan left there when they broke up. "So the aquarium? Cause of us?"

Magnus smirked and kissed his nose.

"Yeah he says he misses you. He has nightmares a lot about you" he said quietly. "He cries a lot. He doesn't know I see but I do"

alec giggled and wiggled happily.

James looked at him and said "I-I didn't think he would..." now he felt that knife, along with guilt grip at him and he felt ready to throw up but he toke deep breaths to try to calm himself.

Magnus smiled and held him tight.

Alec held onto him tightly. 

JAmes hugged Daniel tightly "I'm sorry buddy." he said softly and held on gentle but firm

Magnus smiled and watched him happily.

James kissed his head "I'm okay though buddy."

James kissed his head and picked him up happily

Daniel curled into him.

James held him close and wondered over to Magnus and Alec
