Alec was running to school, earbuds in his ears to block out all sounds. He ran up the steps and to his locker. He quickly flung his locker open, for once grateful the jocks broke the lock off, and grabbed his book before slamming it shut and running to the class. As he made it to class he tripped and fell on the floor. He got on his hands and knees and hung his head. He could just imagine hearing the other people laughing at him again. He was just glad he could pretend they weren't. He grabbed his book and got up before quickly going to the back of class and sitting in his seat

Corey looked over at the kid who just walked in, glaring in disgust at the kids who were laughing at him. He felt bad for this kid, probably because he knew what he was going through. He looked down at his phone, seeing that he had no new text messages, and slid it back into his pocket. He realized after he left Colorado that his friends werent really his friends when he would text them and they would never text back or facebook him or anything. He felt alone now more than ever. He had barely any friends and he lived in a totally new state and place. He had never imagined he could be this lonely. Let alone having his last boyfriend of a year break up with him before he left. He thought it would last forever. But he shrugged and went back to writing, trying to ignore everyone around him.

Alec pulled his ear buds out of his ears and started doodling in his notebook. He was used to ignoring them laughing at him or being mean to him. He wore a hoodie now, a black veil brides one, to cover up his scares. He had a relatively new one from a week ago, when the guy he had a crush on called him a freak and punched him, the jocks did there normal tag team, and his mother beat the crap out of him. But he was oaky again, like always and he was his normal, happy bubbly weird self, unable to stop smiling.

Corey couldnt stop thinking about this new kid. A vibe that he gave off was just so attractive to Corey, and he couldnt help but glance over at him every few seconds. He would make sure that the kid never caught him looking, but he would admire different things about him, like his hair and his body. Corey was hoping that they would talk, and he wouldnt make it too obvious that he was completely and utterly attracted to this person.

Alec glanced over to Corey and smirked happily. He saw the boy was attractive, very, and from just looking at him he could tell he was sweet. He then saw the scars on the boy's wrist and determined that as soon as the bell rang he had to talk to this person

Corey heard the bell ring and lifted his head, grabbing his bag and walking out of the class room, headed towards the commons. This was his free period and he was determined to spend it playing guitar. He walked slowly, checking his phone, that once again had nothing on it. He sighed and shoved it back into his pocket, angered. He felt so alone. he wrapped his hand around his wrist.

Alec quickly caught up to him and ran infront of him and toke his hand, gently running a finger over the cuts and scars. "Don't let them do this to you." He looked at corey and smirked, asking "Not to sound weird, or awkward, but can I make them feel better?"

"Im not sure" he blushed. He looked up at the boy and smirked a little "it was because of my mum. not the ass holes here"

Alec brought the boys hand up to his mouth and kissed every cut and scar. "Don't let her do this to you, it's not worth it." he said softly before looking him in the eyes. His eyes were a soft grey color, full of kindness, caring, concern.

Corey couldnt help but blush. "I-Im Corey" He stuttered, looking down at the floor.

Alec smiled happily and said "I'm Alec. It's a pleasure to meet you Corey." he said grinnined widely

Corey blushed. He hadnt expected him to be so straight forward, and he was very surprised.

Alec smiled happily and asked "Do you have this as a free period? Or am I goign to make you late?"

"Free period. Ive already finished almost all of my senior classes except for english math and science so i have four free periods a day" he said. He hoped that he didnt sound like he was bragging. His palms were moist from his nervousness.

Alec smiled and nodded "I know how that is, I'm only here cause I toke off for most of the last year so I'm missing a few credits." he shrugged and said "so i have four as well." he smiled happily and asked "How are you gonna spend them?

"Well, haha, I usually spend them playing guitar or singing, but I guess if you'd want I could spend them with you?" he blushed and looked down at his feet.

Alec chuckled "If you don't mind, and you still can, I'll listen." he said smiling happily

Corey smiled and took Alec's hand, heading towards the conference rooms. There were other kids there, some druggies, some preps, and very few people that were decent to even consider talking to. Corey took a seat and grabbed his guitar from the corner of the room. He pulled it from its case and began to play Ignorance by Paramore. He sang along as well.

Alec smiled happily and sat there, watching and listening to him happily, "You're really good." he commented.

"Thanks" Corey said when he had finished. He started writing in his note book again, only this time it was flipped to a page of music notes and words. It hadn't been super long yet, it had only been the front and half the back of a single page.

Alec smiled as he watched the boy. "writing you own song?"

"yeah. Its a project for a band Im trying to put together. I have everything but the lead guitar finished. Its kind of irritating. But Ive almost got it" He said while continuing to look at his paper. He glanced over at Alec and smiled a wide smile, his smiley piercing now showing. He chuckled a little and then said "do you want to hear what I have so far?"

Alec smiled happily "Sure, that sounds great. And if you want I can help with the whole lead gutiar thing."
